GISVA, in cooperation with Regensburg University Hospital, welcomed around 80 conference guests to the Vascular Anomalies Masterclass and around 100 guests to the scientific symposium on Saturday.
The European Conference on Embolotherapy (ET) of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) took place in Valencia this june. Prof. Dr. Dr. W. Wohlgemuth was speaker and achieves attention for GISVA.
Last weekend, the German Interdisciplinary Society for Vascular Anomalies (GISVA) met for its Annual General Meeting in Kassel. In addition to members and the honorary member, Werner Siebert, René Strobach, as representative of the German patient advocacy group Federal Association of Congenital Vascular Malformations (Bundesverband Angeborene Gefäßfehlbildungen e.V.) was also present.
Halle (Saale), October 29, 2018: Last weekend, the still young German Interdisciplinary Society for Vascular Anomalies (GISVA) brought renowned experts to Halle. Prof. Dr. Dr. Walter Wohlgemuth, Director of the Department of Radiology and President and co-founder of GISVA, hosted the congress on the occasion of the founding of his Interdisciplinary Center for Vascular Anomalies (IZG) at the University Hospital Halle (UKH), the largest center nationwide.
Important decisions were made on 27 January 2018 by the members of the German Interdisciplinary Society for Vascular Anomalies (GISVA) at the first annual meeting in Kassel Wilhelmshöhe. The Internet platform “Compendium Vascular Anomalies“, the establishment of an expert council, congress planning and honorary membership were just some of many other topics.
